My lantern festival weekend is what I want to talk about. I got back from work on Friday. The nieces have already got ready to go out and see the lanterns, but their father didn’t get home. So, we had a dinner first.
When I went to buy dinner for my family, I was not hungry. I didn’t eat dinner because I thought I could buy food at the venue. We waited for my brother (their father) for a long time. My nieces were too excited to let me out of their sight. They were clinging to me like a Koala.
At 7 p.m. I thought we had to go. So, we started to prepare by wearing coats. Then we were ready to go out. My brother came back. We held off until he finished eating and took a shower.
At 8 p.m. After much delay, we finally went out.
We rode two scooters to see the lanterns. I followed my brother because I didn’t know how to get there.
When we close to the destination, I ride in front of my brother because I found the parking lot.
When I was halfway through the ride, I realized my brother was missing. I parked the car on the side of the road and called him. He had already turned left at the previous intersection. What a surprise! A great decision that didn’t tell me before. I turned around and rode to find my brother and my mom. By the way, my mom was on my brother’s motorcycle.
Finally, we arrived at the venue.
It was a very large venue. so, there were a lot of people, but it wasn’t crowded.
The first lantern we saw was a chicken that resembled a pitaya. We called it pitaya chicken. Next we saw an e-book of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland in what looked like a star cinema on top of a large lantern. There were a lot of kids sitting around a big e-book. I told my brother that he could stay here with his nieces, and I went to Langtang with my mother.
My big task was to finish dinner. So, we went to the market next to the street. I went from start to finish. I wish there was a store that sold hot foods like quandong stew and soy sauce. There was always a line in front of the store. So, we gave up.
It was 8:40 so we went to the main lantern show. There were a lot of people there. My nieces were riding on my brother’s and my shoulders, I felt like working out, and I couldn’t look up. I remember there was a drone show. My mother saw something flying overhead. she spoke. “Look, there was a drone flying over. But We saw it clearly. That was the flight plan. A real airplane that can fly to other countries.
We saw the main show and thought it was a great memory for my niece. My little niece was scared of loud music, so her mother took her to another place. After the show. My mother was never found. She was missing. I found a chair nearby. She’s not there. So, I’ll call her.
Oh, she was in the toilet.
At last, we walked back to our scooter. When we were walking, my niece fell asleep while walking. She closes her eyes and walk.
When we on the way to ours home another niece slept on the scooter. They look like they’re fall off the scooter.my mom was worried about them. But I didn’t eat anything.so I rode my scooter to buy my dinner that was fried chicken. A fat food.
It’s our lantern festival on Friday night.
